„Frame drum meets … Flamenco Dance“ Murat Coşkun and Bettina Castaño
In this program Murat Coşkun converges with the exceptional, numerously awarded flamenco dancer Bettina Castaño. With her very expressive body language she ranks amongst the most extraordinary and multifaceted flamenco dancers of the new generation. As a flamenco expert she is familiar with the big festivals of the world and resulting from her close collaboration with international percussionists, she amplified her palmas (the rhythmic clapping in the flamenco) in a spectacular way und enriched them by means of her wide experience.
Her first encounter with Murat Coşkun dates back 8 years: a flamenco festival in Sevilla where they developed two duo pieces together. Now the two artists present a sweeping and exceedingly humorous programm: a symbiosis of percussion and flamenco, a veritable feast for the ears and for the eyes!
